The instructions that came in the box left something to be desired. I went on line to find the owners manual which gave me more information which enabled me to feel more sure of myself as I assembled the components. There are still adjustments that must be made that I will have to figure out on my own. I hope I made the right decision buying the more expensive Polaris model to replace our old model.

So far so good. We have a 20’ x 40’ in ground pool, and it cleans the entire thing in 2 hours. We have it on a timer.

We had a Pentair Racer that had never worked well from day one. We were continually having to replace parts on it. We could have purchased a new one for the cost of parts over the last 4 years. We upgraded to the Polaris 3900 this spring. Upgraded is such an understatement. It cleans so much better in about half the time and it doesn't get hung up on the steps. My only regret is that we didn't make the switch years ago. We have only had the 3900 for a few weeks, so I can't comment on the longevity yet, but based on f... read more
