Have one for over 8 years. I've had the Polaris 65 for about 8 years and before that the previous model the 60 for about 5. Over this time I had to replace the hoses, bags and weights and various other parts mostly because they wear out, the hoses and bag assembly are being dragged around the pool and the sun beats down on them. I guess I could have taken it out after is cleans the pool, but something is always blowing in that needs to be vacuumed out and it's easier to just keep it in the pool. No fitting for Intex pools (The universal adapter isn't) I have used this product with other pools and it really is very good; however, I now have an Intex pool and I have not been able to find an adapter anywhere to make this work properly. I have stopped at local stores that sell both Intex and Polaris products and they said nothing is available that they know of to make these work together. I don't blame polaris; but, want to caution anyone that wants to use it with an Intex pool. What an opportunity for another product..... read more
POLARIS 65 AUTO POOL CLEANER THE POLARIS 65 IS A GREAT ATUO ABOVEGROUND POOL CLEANER.IT PICKS UP LEAVES ,SMALL TWIGS AND ALSO HELPS GET ALGEE INTO THE FILTER.I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANY ABOVEGROUND POOL 24FT OR LARGER.THE PRICE OF THE POLARIS 65 WAS REASONABLE.
Polaris Vac-Sweep 65 I am very satisfied with the Polaris Vac-Sweep 65. I received my purchase in a timely manner. My Polaris Vac-Sweep 65 is keeping my pool clean when I need it to. The Polaris is easy to attach to my pool and it is not too heavy. It's very quiet while making sweeps around the pool. It does not take a long time to get the pool clean and the basket that catches the debris is easy to take apart and empty. I am a very pleased purchaser of this item.
Plaris Vac Sweep 65 Purchased the Polaris Vac Sweep for our 24 foot above ground pool. I received the product very quickly after placing the order. It was very easy to install and keeps our pool sparkling clean. I would definitely recommend this product and wish I had purchased one a long time ago!
Great product This thing does a great job cleaning and removing leaves and dirt. I have an above ground pool and upgraded my filtration and pump and my pool really is clear and clean. The sand filter keeps the top clean while the 65 cleans the bottom quickly. My pool is under a tree and I always struggled with a water hose vacuum, but now I have no worries. The one thing I would say is to check you HP on you pump. This will not work with a standard intex or summerescape pump. I would recommend at least a 3/4 hp pump. Any thi... read more
Ok most times Works ok most of the time but constantly gets spun up in a circle and won't move so you then have to go to the pool and untangle the Polaris and hope it doesn't happen again
polaris The polaris 65 works very well,Just make sure the hose is not twisted when installed, the polaris could flip upside down.
This is the best! We have an 18 foot above ground that has a pine tree close by. So cleaning the pool is something I had to do sometimes twice a week. And after the pool was cleaned I had to backwash the filter, and add more DE. Needless to say it was getting old fast..and I was going through a lot of DE. I was skeptical about getting a pressure side cleaner, mostly because I really didn't understand how it was going to clean anything without suction.
