I can not give a review of the Polaris 8050 Sport in operation since it hasn't been used in its capacity as a cleaner. Other than that I'm impressed with the unit's construction, caddy and the sleek look. A positive addition to my pool environment.

This unit works beyond my expectations. The unit climbs the walls and sloped sides into the deep end. The debris basket is fairly large and the suction picks the sand up with no problem. I am very happy with my purchase. Now to see how much longevity I get.

Cleaner does a good job but will get stuck on Main Drain. Have to spend another $100 for a Polaris unicover. Then try to install it straight on the main drain. Not easy.

The Polaris is amazing it has cut my work time by 90% it is efficient it goes up the walls/Steps turns itself off. I’m in love ! Lol

Phone support system was weak. Local service thru leslies was not great.Got a hold of the local rep and everything was handled very well. Flip Petkovsek. Need a regional repair center that has the parts and can turn units around fast

The robo-cleaner does a good job on cleaning with the exception of some dead algae on pool bottom. I noticed that there is an "ultra-fine" filter basket available that might contain it. I may try ordering one of those- but they're not cheap.
