Best Pool Robot I've Tried Alright, so I've only tried a couple of pool robots. I prefer these fully autonomous units rather than suction side type units which have no intelligence to them. In addition to this unit, I've tried the Dolphin Nautilus. Both the Dolphin and this Polaris F9550 cleaned my pool equally well. In the case of either robot, my pool is spotless in about 2 hours. I have a 20,000 gallon pool and it's rectangular. Neither robot cleaned the stairs at all. I have short steep stairs, and I'm sure that has some... read more

Easy Lift Out of Pool System What a great pool cleaner. It comes on a cart so you can wheel it to where you need to plug it in. Quiet. No problems with long cord twisting or causing problems. We have a 60' long rectangular pool so needed a cleaner that would go that far. Does the sides and the bottom of pool. Has trouble with our stairs that are higher than most, but stairs were not the problem. Picks up leaves, pollen, and leaves a clean path in its wake. Pretty good This is a pretty good cleaner, but it’s also a pretty hefty price. I do really enjoy having it be self-contained and not hooked into the side of the pool, so I can just wheel it away. It has a hard time covering certain areas of our pool without using the remote. I still have not gotten the remote control to work like it’s supposed to, and it’s fairly difficult to control, but you can get the job done. All in all, I would recommend this product.

Well designed and works as described. Glad I bought it Easy to setup and well designed. I have rectangular gunite pool with a stepped entry. The 9550 found every nook, recovered from tumbles when cleaning the steps and scaled the walls to clean the tiles. One disapointment was the slowness of the remote but once you're used to it, all is well. The caddy was very easy to assemble and it comes with the unit.
