Remote is clunky. Everything else is great Good coverage, good power. Navigates the steps with no problems. Remote is based on motion and it doesn't work for me. I don't care. I don't use it. I bought the super-fine mesh filter to get more of the particulates out. It's a necessity for us.
Great robot for big pools This thing is a beast. It works on our very large pool and is easy to clean. I run it 2-4 times a week and sometimes spot clean using the remote. You can leave it in the pool but I tend to take it out each night or every other night to make sure it last. The remote works well and honestly for the money savings is probably easier to use than upgrading to the 965.
When it’s good it’s good, but misses a lot too. Where it cover’s it cleans well. But where it misses, even with an increased amount of time it consistently misses. The hand held device to try to drive manually is difficult to use and the machine is slow to respond.
Great and easy to use pool cleaner. Great pool cleaner. It cleans the bottom and the sides, it can climb all the way to the surface. The all purpose filter it came with wasn't the greatest for our pool setup. We don't have any trees so the only things that get in our pool is dirt and a little grass. Once we bought the extra fine filter, it worked great as long as you remember to clean it periodically.

Over all it works GREAT!!!! Everything is awesome on this cleaner, but I wish the remote control worked better and was easier to control. Would be nice if there was a remote with directional arrows, instead of the sensor.
Get the fine filter ...best for grit. Just wow! We set it for 2 hours per use and when we return the pool is spotless. Our pool guy had to lower his fee due the effectiveness of the Polaris.
