When it works, it's great. Plan on replacing in 5 years! We're ordering our third Polaris 9550 today. They make pool care just too convenient to go back to hand/vacuum hose cleaning. But $1,000+ every 5 years is a tough nut to swallow. That's been our experience through two 9550s. 5 years to the month, they both started getting errors. Repair cost far exceeded the cost of a new unit. Here's the deal: They get water in the "motor" unit. Pretty awsome little robot This is our first pool robot and I read a lot of reviews before springing for this one but we are pretty pleased with it. It picks up even the finest debris and will clean the whole pool in 1 1/2 hours. We have a 16 x 42 organic shaped inground pool. The only problem is that there are a couple of small areas that it seems to miss. It's odd because there is no real reason - we're not talking tight corners or anything like that. Cleaned better than I expected I’ve had six swimming pools over the past 40 years. This is my first robotic cleaner. It’s great! Does a better job than when I cleaned by hand.
Simple and works great! Works like a charm. Easy to set up, simple to use and extremely easy to clean after use. Does a good job cleaning the bottom and sides of our irregularly shaped pool. Only caveat is that it doesn't always get everything on the stairs and the remote control is a bit wonky, as it uses motion control. Highly recommended.
Have had for about a month still working good Like it works good. Biggest problem were I live is dirt on the bottom of the pool. It does an ok job of cleaning it upyyyy

It is easy to use Overall happy with Polaris 9550 sport .still have to brush area where pool walls meet bottom . Remote control is a good feature for spot cleaning.
Best in class! Best pool robot I’ve ever owned (out of 5 different models). This thing cleans great and is a breeze to use, with the exception of the cord, which is so hard to untangle.
