Works The product we got in was DOA. Took it to my local dealer and a few days later product was repaired with new control head and works. It doesn't do as well as I had hoped in that it goes in random patterns and that means it doesn't always cover the entire pool area. The remote while it works is not the easiest to use, but that could just be me. I like the easy out and cleaning the unit is easy. Good cleaning robot but electrical cord tangles very quickly and takes a while to untangle. The cord will get so twisted and tangled/coiled around itself after using this robot about 3 times. Untangling takes a while and you can never really get the cord fully straight again as it was when you got it out of the box. The cord material is such that once the coils form, it will coil back up pretty quickly. Finally, A Great Pool Cleaner I've taken over the care of the family pool. The house belonged to my in-laws, but he is 95 and can't do much of anything anymore. He always used the Polaris cleaner that attached to the pool filtration system. It would run for 6 hours at night and required cleaning out the next day. This is a beast! This cleaner is an absolute beast! While it is a bit heavy when you are loading it in and out of the water, once it's in it does an amazing job. It climbs the walls, hits the ledge then drops back down and changes direction. It does not turn over for me as some others have indicated. It also has a very fine screen so it cleans the silt, dirt and algae from the pool that our previous cleaner did not. I have not yet used the hand held remote control so I cannot speak to that but the cleaner itself is amazing!
