Good Suction We had another pool vacuum that did not have good suction and would barely pick up debris at the bottom of the pool. This pool cleaner has excellent suction - and that makes a huge difference. It works very well, but you may want to move it around a bit. An effective, non-gold-plated robotic cleaner... The Polaris NEO Robotic Pool Cleaner appears to me to be the Polaris 8050 Sport pool robot cleaner without the caddy that comes with the 8050--and thus $50 cheaper. Otherwise, the two cleaners appear identical. Is the caddy worth the extra $50? Usually I'd say no, that a caddy isn't worth it. Love this! This arrived just in time to help us keep our inground pool clean during the summer. It has different settings for just the bottom or bottom and walls. It does actually climb the walls. It definitely does a better job on the bottom, but I didn't know you could get one that could climb the walls and it does help. To get it to do a corner you need to start it in a corner. I'd suggest starting it in a different corner each time its used. It doesn't do stairs. It may not do everything but it is definitely a time savin... read more
