Tried two other brands but was not happy with performance and then I saw the Polaris NEO and purchased it. No booster pump just simple plug and play. Run time is about 90 minutes and it covers bottom and walls a multitude of times. The only negative is it does not pick up big leafs some of the time. 5.0 out of 5 stars Works very well. Lots of suction. I have an in-ground pool, with no liner. This has so much suction it will drive up the walls. It does a very good job cleaning pull.

The really fine stuff (like pollen/algae) tends to pass right through and go back into the pool. For that, I do have to revert to using my old skimmer vacuum to so it doesn't blow the particles back into the pool. It does a good job climbing the walls and scrubbing.
