Bought a pool and hot tub from Jason at the Monroeville store last August with promises of them installing my pool for free…. When the guy came out to prepare the site he told me it would cost over 1500 dollars to dig plus I would need to put up a retaining wall. I called Jason and told him I don’t want the pool in which he told me he would give me a refund and have them pick up the pool. No one ever even try to pick the pool up. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM POOL CITY! Once you pay, you no longer exists, even with a warranty! We had our spa just over a year, one of the pumps quit working. My husband called service one day and I called on a Monday, 4 times, and no one answered/called back.
Definitely needs to have more communication with the customer after a purchase instead of " dropping the ball"... once money is received they don't care! (This was on a Hot Tub purchase) Salesperson (Arnold) could use a course on treating customers with kindness instead of being arrogant!!!
I bought a pool in may from Chuck the store manager. I was told I would have my pool installed at the end of June. Pool installer called early June 7th and asked if we had our building permit. We were not informed we had to get one so we immediately got one and had it in hand the next week. We called the installer back we couldn't get ahold of him. We tried several times. Bought a pool 3 years ago. Last year we got a hole in the bottom of the pool, we could not find it so pool was not used last year. this year we called them and the said it would me 12 to 8 weeks to put in a new liner. We figured we could do it ourselves. Taken the rails off and found out screws were missing and stripped. No i did not strip them i know how to remove a screw.
