Our Bella wasn't feeling well last week. I took her in Monday to see Dr. Pope. An examination and xrays were done and she was diagnosed with a Spleen tumor the size of a balloon! If she didnt have surgery, she would die. Dr. Pope listened to my concerns and took her back for additional xrays of her lungs and her heart so we could make an informed decision about either letting her go or doing the surgery. First time there with Dr. Jones. The staf and the doctor are very friendly and personable. I enjoyed the visit though I am sure my parrot thinks he was manhandled and abused....lol. But it was a very good manhandling. We went for just a check-up and a nail trim as I just adopted my African Grey last month and I needed to find a good vet for emergencies it’s as well as routine things. Very happy overall with they way they treated Lucky during the exam and that I could be there to try to keep him calm.

Our Golden doodle puppy went in today to be fixed. My husband and I were worried for her, but they took such good care of her, that we could tell. The best part? When we went to pick her up, the surgery attendant presented us with a letter, supposedly from our puppy! It was written to us as though it was from her, explaining everything that had occurred and included next step instructions for us. Whomever came up with that loving idea should get a raise!
