Don’t even bother applying for a voucher. Not only did it take forever to get because the guy handling our application kept giving us false deadlines about when he would have it ready for us, prolonging the process for months while having us under the impression it would be weeks- it is literally impossible to secure housing in this county with a voucher. Tiffany purkiss needs a new career and should NOT be dealing with people. She always has an attitude and doesn't try to help or communicate, and she will hang up on you. The disrespect is mind-blowing, and I wish something could be done about her terrible ethics when working with people in need. I truly feel bad for anyone who needs their help since they're not the ones to give help and only offer disrespect.
It took me almost two years to receive assistance through them,the waiting lists were long, but they were very helpful, patient and understand of my little knowledge about any of the programs. When verification was required on my part they mad sure I was aware of it by contacting me via mail, phone and email,( I'm a hard person to contact) making sure I didn't lose my assistance.
I have the pmha voucher a not 1 house they have listed is available. Either they still have people in the property or they’ve been fixing it for months. I don’t understand why give out the PMHA voucher and the landlords are still asking for three times the rent credit scores eviction ETC. the Tiffany lady is literally no help at all very nasty attitude. Tried to request a transfer almost a year ago cause I need to move to a different county due to my kids and still heard nothing so instead got removed I don’t feel like that’s how you do business now I don’t have a voucher or a place to stay
