I love their flexibility. They work with you to make sure your are comfortable with your clients. If you feel you need more training, they will provided it with no issues. This has been an excellent nursing experience. You can do per diem, part time and full time. They make it work with what your availability is.

The care provided may be ok. That said, as a nurse, I was paid minimum wage for training, which I only found out was their rate when I received my first paycheck. It took numerous texts, emails, phone calls, and ultimately threats to report the company to the Department of Labor for wage theft, to get this issue resolved. They lost a nurse with ten years of experience as a result, and this may be why Preferred is so welcoming of new nurses, as they wouldn't know this practice is unheard of in the profession. You can’t be very picky because they are short of staff. I am desperate for help.I feel like something is better than nothing and do the best out of it until it gets so bad that I call them and ask for a nurse replacement. Good luck if you get Jaime Hill. She is one of their nurses. I have a nonverbal autistic son who she kept in the bathroom for an hrs because she had the power to do so . Poor my son!

I have enjoyed the caring staff at Preferred and their attention to how they carefully select cases to pair up with a nurse's experience and ability. On more than one occasion their kindness has made me feel a valuable part of their team.

I had been with Preferred with quite some time now, and there’s not a bad thing I can say about them. Everybody is always nice. They’re eager help you when you need it. Especially my supervisor Donna. She’s the best! Thank you all for everything!
