The office front desk staff is friendly and always willing to answer my questions or find the answers to my questions. Also, there have been many times I’ve arrived for my shots only to realize I have forgotten to take an allergy pill, and the clinical staff has always offered me one with no issues or judgement. I can understand the negative reviews though as their office schedule is constantly shifting making it harder for people with strict work schedules to come in and get their shots or book an appointment. Been receiving allergy shots here for the last year and a half and seriously regret choosing this office. First, to give it credit, you don't need an appointment for your maintenance shot and can walk in and out in roughly 25 min. That's where the pros end though. Cons: - its impossible to get ahold of admin or staff, which makes billing, refilling vials, or general questions a nightmare. Dr. Hauk has been helping me manage some unexpected allergies for about a year and a half now, and overall it’s been a really good experience. He’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and does a good job explaining what’s going on and what my options are. I appreciate that he’s willing to adjust the plan as we figure out what works best. Dealing with allergies can be frustrating, but having a consistent and responsive doctor has made it much easier. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Hauk.
Dr. Hauk is one of the best. He has been helping my daughter with her egg allergy while other allergists didn’t want to do certain testing. Always willing to listen to any questions that I may have.
I had a very uncomfortable and discouraging experience here with Dr. Michael Hauk. I first visited a year ago with clear/visible symptoms of an allergy but was brushed off by Dr. Hauk and told it was not an allergic reaction. I asked several times to be tested for allergies with the methods the office is said to use, but he refused to perform any tests, mentioning that it would not be useful and ridding it off as eczema (but still offering no plan for testing).
