I have been a patient at this clinic for decades, but over the past year or two, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality of their services. All of the previous staff have been replaced, and the new team appears unhappy and poorly prepared for their roles, and some are rude dealing with patients. During Dr Josephs time, the office ran smoothly. Now he retired and sold it to a large company, and it's a total disaster. The older lady who administers the allergy shots has a terrible attitude, is rude to everyone, completely disrespectful to the patients. The office closes randomly and doesn't notify anyone (they said they post a sign on the door, but who is there to see the sign?). AllerVie Health N Bethesda is one of the most disorganized medical offices I have ever dealt with! They close absolutely randomly and do not call/email/text to communicate that they will be closed. They also do not update their website with closures. I have been coming to this location for many years, and when Dr. Shelby Joseph was the provider (before he retired), it was run smoothly. However, since he left, the level of organization is very poor. Every time I go to get an allergy shot is a hit and miss. In numerous occasions the office has been closed, and nobody calls or sends a text message to let the patients know, so you have to drive all the way there, hoping that the office will be opened. Just made another trip to this location for allergy shots only to find a note on the door saying they are closed for the next 3 days. Extremely frustrating. It seems like the corporate level is short-staffing all of the locations to squeeze out profit while announcing an “exciting” rebrand from Premier Allergist to Allervie Health. My interactions with the staff has been fine, but these offices are being choked off by their corporate overlord IMO.
