After receiving 2 confirmation emails they called 24 hrs before we were to move into the storage unit and were told they no longer have the space available. The person calling was blaming everyone...

Trust me when I say, use a different facility. They charged me late fees when I have proof I paid within the grace period stated on my contract, and when I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they sent me a notice that they were going to increase my rent! I was only there 4 months, it is not stated that even after one year that they are allowed to raise my rent. To top it all...

Details What is the exact language of the "grace period" terms? Is it x-many days before any late fee or penalties kick in?It's also possible that a late payment permits them to jack up the monthly rate, just as it would allow a card issuer to raise interest rates.Does your written documentation contain any such loopholes, or disclaimer such as, "See website" or "See online documentation for further...

Less than you pay for YP.com WITHOUR PREJUDICE This self storage facility needs to be investigated by the state for fraud. In my case I paid for a 5x6 foot space specifically because of the crates I had to store. The facility actually turned out to be 5'2" x 4'1" so I wound up being able to use far less space. When I complained about it I was told that that was just normal business practice, that the local manager could do...
