OUTSTANDING! We just wrapped up our time with Prime Storage after 5 years and our entire time with them was amazing. BUT I came on to give this review about one employee in particular. Yesterday I needed FedEx to come pick up several boxes of files from our unit, and ship them out. When they arrived we realized we had a misunderstanding about who prints the labels. Darren was insanely helpful with renting my first unit. Patient with answering all my questions and genuinely just a good guy to talk to! Very happy with the entire renting experience.
I spend $$$ moving in and two months later the rent goes up 75%. Darren gave me a call and straightened out the increase. Great customer service. Thanks Darren!
Edit: added a 2nd star because after posting this I received a call from the district manager. He apologized for the lack of carts and said he would be ordering more. I did see one new cart show up before I ended up moving to another storage company due to location. They have plenty of carts at the new place. The facility is well kept, clean, and secure. Raising the rates 50% after the two hurricanes feels like price gouging. Yes, they raised it 50% after two months. Would not have said anything but I keep getting emails from them to share my experiences. So here you go, They sock it to folks affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton.i am sure they have some excuse for their sudden 50% increase….
