I came in with my friend looking for a storage unit with his car, we weren’t sure if we were going to buy a unit before arriving. We arrived and talked about wanting a 10x15 unit. Since Prime Storage bought out our LOCAL storage Co, the rates have DOUBLED! Alot of us "elderly" & "disabled" live on VERY fixed incomes. Let me ask you a question. Would you like it if a storage company raised the price to store your Mother's or Grandma's family heirlooms? I have been disabled for over 20 years. There's no "raise" in my future. Perhaps you could consider a discount for the elderly and disabled. TY for listening.
My unit is clean and door works great.the plowing and safety needs work. I've had to call because of cleanup work.also my unit rates were raised ,after a few calls they were restored.
Overall Good business. be aware of Numerous price increases and changes in ownership in the 6 years I have held a storage unit here. Also new owner requires proof of insurance of contents , or a steep monthly fee . this is frustrating when unit is paid for on a company card. I would think a business would have its own storage insurance when renting storage.
Aaron has been wonderful to work with whenever I came across a question or problem I couldn't solve. He is so helpful and always has the answer I need. My only problem is, I worry about is the cost increase the company does yearly. I'm retired and live on a monthly budget. The cost increase is more than I receive from SS increases.
