I’ve been storing here since Prime Storage took over and I have been enjoying how pleasant the staff are and how attentive to detail they are. They are honest and actually works with customers and I appreciate that greatly. Also they just upgraded the elevator and it’s Huge, great for taking my things up and down! & the new lighting in the building is amazing! I had a very disappointing experience with this storage facility. What started as a place to safely store my belongings turned into a nightmare due to the poor condition and lack of maintenance of the unit. Over time, water began leaking into the storage unit, causing significant water damage to my personal property. The moisture led to mold growth on many of my belongings, leaving items with a strong mildew odor and making some of them completely unusable. My 5-star rating is based on the exceptional customer service I have received at Prime Storage in Newark, NJ. Genesis, in particular, has been outstanding and Jabriel has also been incredibly helpful every time I have called or stopped by with questions about my storage unit. They are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The only downside has been the significant increase in the monthly rate after the promotional pricing ended, which was disappointing. There was a mix-up with my storage, and Farod was extremely helpful in resolving the issue. he was professional and made the entire process much easier. truly appreciate his assistance. unlike U-Haul on Broadway lady in the office was very dry and very rude. The worst storage unit ever. As company and as a crew . They make up the rules as they go along ,make up prices depending on occupancy , they’re overpriced, staff sucks , rip off , forces you to pay for things you don’t ask for , fees are ridiculous . Extremely predatory business and should be reported to BBB as much as possible for taking advantage of customers. All across the board trash and there’s rats . I wish there was a zero star option.
