I recently rented a storage unit at Prime Storage in Monroe (in the old Kmart building), and I couldn't be happier. This place is clean and new and the building is clean, secure, and very well maintained, making the moving process easy. Leann gave us outstanding service. She was very kind, and helpful from the moment I walked in. Edit: Get bigger carts please! These current ones are a joke. Something like these would make a world's difference! I'd love to change this review because other than this the units are nice and well maintained. They got the bigger carts!! Definitely helped a lot. Thanks for that. Much appreciated. Although they did raise my "rent" by almost double when they had told when signing up that it wouldn't go up and said there was nothing they could do when I did come in to ask about it and said they sent out a notice. Simple process and the unit was clean. I had no issues while having my stuff there. Leann was a huge help and so nice and friendly!!! Thank you so much I will definitely use you guys in the future!!!
I originally gave the place a 5 star. I am extremely disappointed with how our experience turned out. We reserved a unit that was supposed to be 1st month free rent. What they dont tell you is about the hidden fees. The locks have to be very specific and are impossible to purchase anywhere so you're forced to buy from them. We were told there would be large carts at every door to get our stuff to our indoor unit. Thankfully we checked things out before taking our stuff there. The carts were literally 3'x2'.
