I've been going to Progressive Spine and Orthopedics with someone I know as a translator for his visits. Overall, the staff is very nice and the doctors we've spoke with (Dr. Montero-Cruz and Dr. Porter) have been knowledgeable and helpful. Even with the language barrier the staff have been accommodating and understanding. There is one issue that we have experienced (specifically I've only noticed this on our visits with Dr. Porter) that has left us disappointed. Dr Rovner is an exceptional Orthopedic surgeon. The office staff got me into see him quickly when another surgeon failed me. I was in need of a cervical fusion due to an auto accident and had numbness in my left arm and hand and terrible range of motion in my neck. Dr Rovner assured me he could fix the herniated discs with acdf surgery. My surgery was scheduled quickly and conveniently and the outcome was better than I expected. Dr. Porter was so wonderful and helpful through my entire shoulder recovery process! He walked me through it all, and he ultimately enabled me (and my shoulder) to heal fully and experience my usual day-to-day life without any limited range of motion or pain! He’s a wonderful doctor and surgeon, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone i know experiencing any kind of shoulder pains.
Dr. Bernstein and his entire team took excellent care of me throughout the whole process—from the initial consultation to follow-up. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming, making what could have been a stressful experience feel comfortable and reassuring.
