I truly appreciate my psychiatrist—they are amazing. Unfortunately, the office’s follow-through is a serious problem. Whether it’s due to staffing issues or poor management of paperwork and call-backs, the result is the same: I’ve been waiting almost two weeks for my prescription refill because I cannot get the nurse to return my calls or send it in. Dr. Song is professional, empathetic, well versed in my issues, good listener and offers reasonable options and tools to strengthen my coping skills. He is supportive and never patronizing or condescending! I highly recommend him. He also understands the stress of caring and worrying about an aging parent with cognitive impairment and provides support and tips in supporting our parent.
I love my psychiatrist, Dr Fernando, here, he’s done more for me than anyone else and he’s highly responsive. But, his office staff is ridiculously unresponsive to phone calls or even their online help system. I’m struggling with a new medication and have not been able talk to my psychiatrist or ANYONE in over a week, because nobody has bothered to return my increasingly frantic calls. I want to be clear that this review is not about my doctor, who is amazing—very professional, kind, and thorough. I had a great experience with her and felt truly cared for. However, I’m very disappointed with the billing department. I made a simple human mistake while making a payment and accidentally gave the wrong expiration date. If I could give a worse review than 1 Star, I absolutely would. Complete negligence, I highly recommend anyone to reconsider if you’re thinking about going to psychiatric wellness center. I have gone over a month without my medication because of the negligence of the nurses and staff, I can’t stress enough how much I advise against dealing with this place.
