I went to quick care because I had a non life threatening issue and didn't need the care or expense of an emergency room. It's my understanding an emergency room is open 24 hours and you can be admitted without being transported elsewhere. I was expecting a bill for 45.00 as stated on my insurance card. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for 438.00 for emergency room and 65.00 for the physician! The quick care is a stand alone building and the hospital has an attached emergency room. dr referred us to you . my complaint is no seatoffered to my husband who was unable to stand due to leg injury. it was pouring down rain and we had to go back to car and wait. we are elderly and no option was given to us . You are not open on Sunday and I previously had to travel approx. 20 miles to find another Quik Care that was open on Sunday. No hand sanitizer to use, after I signed in. No chairs to set in while we had to waite to be seen. Several people in waiting room, not able to be 6 ft apart. Experience with Doctor was fine.
Went to Quick Care about 2pm to get treatment for a leg wound. Was told that it be an hour and a half for the next available appointment and to sign in if I wanted to be seen then. Having been there less than 4 weeks ago I was not familiar with the new procedures. I was shown where the sign in pad was located and filled in the required data and was given a 3:40 app’t. The NPA had no personality and didn’t even do a full examination of me! Will never use Jasmine again, the ladies up front cared more then Jasmine.
