Went in to the Wallingford location to ask about window prices for an ADU I am having built. I am taking on the role of General contractor. I was told I would need to have an account. I asked how do you get one? I was told I would have to be a licensed contractor. I asked if they could atleast tell me the availability of some paradigm brand windows that were specificied by my architect and they said no, they don't looks at window schedules. I’ve been using Beacon for a few years now for all my siding and roofing jobs and they are fantastic. They are knowledgeable at the front desk, fulfill orders quickly and are all around a great supply house to deal with regarding any exterior projects.
I'm about to spend $21,000 on a siding project and they were unwilling to assist with a color reference address. My contractor and I are definitely not using Beacon Building Products.
Awesome customer service
Employees are very helpful. Excellent variety of products available. Geared towards the home improvement market, but they cover various trades, i.e., roofing, siding, shingles, sheetrock, etc...
