Please be careful when seeking treatment with this company. Told I was getting covered treatment and my insurance was paying everything, then got a surprise bill for $2,200 saying insurance didn't accept the procedure under the code they billed under (wrong code). Multiple appeals denied and exhausted, forcing me to foot the bill outside of insurance. The physical therapists have been great w helping me. They are highly trained and know what they are doing. Dr. Desai is very knowledgeable and is straight to the point. He doesn’t sugarcoat conditions which I appreciate. The clerical team works to schedule appointments with you and I feel in general this office is excellent. Went here a year ago and after every appointment I asked billing if I had any payments because I have been through this before with physical therapy and surprise payments and they kept telling me I was covered . After one month i suddenly have a $1500 bill I have to pay and can’t come back until I do so….and then all of a sudden billing is impossible to get ahold of? My mom has been receiving treatment from Dr.Desai. He was able to explain her diagnosis and treatment plan clearly. She received a mouth guard that has really improved her jaw pain! The staff was also very welcoming and friendly.
First, I saw Dr. Desai. After a very brief and rushed exam and no imaging done, he confidently declared I have bone loss in my jaw and set up the appointment to have me fitted for a night guard. I had several appointments to adjust the guard and it just kept causing me pain. So finally I switched providers and saw Dr. Fons who ordered a CT scan.
