I was airlifted to Sacred Heart in Pensacola with a life threatening condition. In the process they did a CT scan on me. When billing it to Medicare they used the wrong code which was denied by Medicare. They used a code for routine examination which was confirmed by Medicare instead of the proper code for emergency situations. Their rep said they would submit it to their "review board" and it would take about 30 days. Why are so many people complaining about the same thing, and Baptist does nothing about these people. I keep getting Harrassing texts and emails, about a bill, the same way I see several Reviews here. They tell me the same thing, they need type of payment. They cannot give me an address location that I can go to, or a local telephone number either. The number I go is an out of location service line, and all they do is ask for a credit card. I received a random bill for $192 and constant text messages from this company. I've never been to them before and I have insurance that covers my x-rays. I contacted them and they asked for my insurance information. I wouldn't give it to them because I believe it's very scammy for them to charge me for an x-ray that I had through another organization less than 30 days ago and then ask for insurance info, which they should already have if they're contracted with the original organization I received the x-ray.
