I finally stopped in for a lunch experience. This place has been around for years. Excellent customer service in a spacious rustic, Spanish style dining room. I enjoyed the queso Blanco appetizer, the green chili tamale as well as the chicken mole enchilada. The chips and salsa were a great starter. The next time I pop in for an experience, I think I will focus on à la carte items. They also have an amazing selection of salsa.

We definitely had a good experience there for my mom's 80th birthday. There was 11 of us and we reserved a private room. The staff was very attentive and we're kind even though we stayed past closing time. The food was great and we had plenty of chips and salsa. I ordered a carne asada plate (not carne asada in the picture online). I walked in and stood around for 5 mins with no one anywhere. Not in the bar or upfront or at any tables. When I opened my lunch there was so much grease/oil it was a pool that filled the entire bottom of the to go box. Also, the sour cream and guac they give is in one tiny container for both is an absolute joke for $20. Save your money and try another restaurant, because it is obvious they are saving on to go containers for your sides.

Haven’t been for a couple years. It was a pleasant surprise when we walked in. We thought it had new owners. Not the case, but brighter interior, great food as always and very pleasant staff. Will be back

5/10/25: Short version - I only just now looked at the less-than-stellar reviews for Rancho and am utterly shocked at what I was reading. We had a great experience and would highly recommend Rancho. From the bright colors to the myriad displays to the food, everything was wonderful. Long version - a few weeks ago we stopped by Rise Up Bakery, a few doors down from Rancho.
