I had a great experience working with Robert Olson. He was very patient with me, especially since I wasn’t always able to answer my phone due to work. He called multiple times and waited until I was available, which I really appreciated. Robert explained everything clearly and made sure I understood each step. Absolutely a horrible experience. From start to finish. The person who was supposed to work with me was fired or quit so I got bounced around from person to person with no explanation. Then the offer I was approved for off of Credit Karma was so far off. I ended up being offered a higher APR, higher payment and a longer term contract. Then asked if I would be interested in that. What sense would that make??? I just wasn’t impressed with them at all.

Was referred to RateGenius through Credit Karma and it was a total bait and switch! I have excellent income and credit and my vehicle's LTV was also excellent. They could not come close to the advertised rates. Given the hard credit hit (which they never advise you about in advamce btw), I immediately searched for alternatives. Fortunately for me, my credit is excellent and I landed even better terms with a local credit union. But if your credit can't withstand that hit, I'd steer clear.
