Dr. Barr is the best! She encouraged me from our first meeting. Although it took me a year to move forward with VSG, I am so glad I did! My surgical area healed without any scars. Dr. BARR is my SHERO!!! She saved my life and I am forever grateful!
I was blessed for Dr Barr to be available as an on call emergency bariatric surgeon when I was transferred to Dallas Methodist with a bowel obstruction due to intestinal intussuception following an old RNY gastric bypass. Her and the surgical resident team took amazing care of me through the procedure and recovery. Dr. Barr has been simply amazing from the very start of my journey. She cares deeply for her patients and provides a great deal of support along the way. I am so thankful for the tool that has been given to me to achieve my health goals.
Had my panniculectomy done with Dr. Barr. She was amazing throughout the whole process. Always in and out of appointments never behind. Surgery was great and recovery was detailed and made known. Office staff was even food at communicating in a timely manner as well. Highly recommend.
