DO NOT recommend using this company. Zero customer service. Switched to SROA recently and billing/communication has been terrible. Today we went to access our unit and all access has been down for two days. Several customers there trying to access gate/doors and had been reporting outage to no avail. Since it's a weekend, we're told there is nothing they can do. So much for 24/7 service. One customer has movers scheduled and is completely screwed and they didn't even care. Do not recommend using them somebody stole my things out of my unit and they are acting like it’s nothing because we have insurance the police said I was the 200th person to call about their unit.
Ever need an emergency Storage Unit at 3am? You can reserve online in under a minute. Super convenient, love it. --- Update: This used to be a Red Dot facility that was 24-hour access, had automated payments, and a very active staff. The acquisition by SROA has been horribly mismanaged, and has caused more than one headache for me. Do NOT do business with this company. My local storage unit in Decatur, IL was acquired by SROA this summer. We did not receive communication that the company had changed owners until almost a month after the switch. I have been trying to close out my account for a month. There is no one on-site. The phone number listed in the robo-text and automated calls gives you the option to 1) make a payment or 2) speak to a manager.
