Put our trust in Redirect Health. Everything was denied coverage based on their opinion not my doctors. Example colonoscopy, gallbladder removal, heart attack. Their reasoning, every thing is a pre existing condition. Had an unexpected heart attack and Redirect health stated it was a pre existing condition. Each case I had I asked for a review, even had my doctors help by submitting paperwork and Redirect Health still insisted everything was pre existing so no insurance coverage helped with any surgeries. Lies! You are NOT able to keep your existing doctors like they say. For example, WashU Physicians, ****************************, ********************* and so many more DO NOT work with a PHCS. They will no longer accept me as a patient because of Redirect Health. I am one year into my cancer journey and am basically told, we cannot see you any longer because PHCS is not insurance. Worst customer service ever. I have been trying to get a bill paid to my provider for over a YEAR! I've sent my bill copy in multiple times and continue to get the run around between customer service and waiting another 3 days for someone further up the food chain to call me. I've been told the bill was paid but my provider has no record of receiving it. I also can't schedule an MRI with this provider because the bill is past due from March of 2023! I have been a patient for over 25 years but since they have gone from Arrowhead Health to Redirect Health the quality of service and care has declined significantly. You never see the same practitioner and their communication and online scheduling is terrible.Today was the final straw: I showed up for my physical 40 minutes early only to be told they only scheduled me for 15 minutes instead of 30 so they couldnt do it; but I could see the ** for something else. In September of 2020 I had chest pain and shortness of breath. On speaking with one of their doctors and for fear of having C19 it was suggested I go to the hospital for in-person care. Upon asking if this would be covered I was told there would be an out-of-pocket cost but there is coverage. After the visit I got several bills, all of which I paid. The first bill was $1,700 or so. Im extremely sorry that I ever agreed to switch to this health cost share program. I have had to constantly communicate with these people and get permission for every little thing. There have been multiple situations of payments that should be covered visits to my primary care doctor and routine blood tests that are not paid and I have to fight for them to be resolved. This company has dodged payment for several bills after they preapproved a screening procedure. The membership department has been great, the payment department is not in any kind of integrity, lying, failure to communicate, etc. I'm starting to think this is elderly abuse.
