I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct I experienced during a phone call with the manager of the Rent-A-Center location in Homestead, Florida. I contacted the store to inform them that my household no longer needs the bedroom set that was recently rented. I have never had such a sour taste in my mouth after speaking with the store. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have always paid on time, so I did not expect this type of treatment especially from a manager. I’m currently in the process of moving and needed to switch my washer and dryer for a stackable unit since the ones I have don’t fit in my new place. I have been waiting nearly two months for a refund from this store, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I have received no resolution. I contacted corporate twice, and two separate tickets were opened with the promise that the district manager would reach out, yet I have not been contacted.
