I'm going to edit from my last review because it's only fair I give credit where it's due. I had alot of issues with my last order but in the end rent a center did make things right. I didn't get to speak to the store Mgr charity but I did speak to the assistance store mgr I believe her name was Courtney I'm not 100% sure but she did make things right and provided amazing customer service. She would be the reason I shop at rent a center again.
Do not get nothing from here I paid my deposit to reserve my furniture went to the store to give them my information get a phone call saying they don’t deliver where I stay then the next day I get another call stating they need my information I gave it to them and they said they was gone deliver my furniture today I’ve been waiting all day and I call the lady she gone say they sent my refund so if I don’t get it I will be in your store
We had opened a new account in the Opelika store to get our daughter a refrigerator. Once we did the paperwork and paid a fee,they called us to say that they needed another fee for weekly rent before they could deliver it. ATP, no refrigerator has been delivered so it's like pre paying for merchandise that we haven't had delivered. Each person that works at this store had a different reason as to why certain things couldnt be done. I've read some unfavorable reviews on-line for Rent-A-Center (not location specific). I have been a customer of the Opelika, Alabama store for just over 90 days and altho Dierdre, Pam, and Rick MAY BE the RAC exceptions, I have received some of the friendliest, helpful, and efficient sales & support EVER!! Can't ask for anything more so for me its 5 BIG stars!!!
They don't have enough people in store to answer phone calls from their customers. But because no one answered the phone on due date I have to pay a late fee. It's not my fault no one answers phone to take my payment. I have been a customer with RAC for years back in Tuscaloosa Alabama but I don't recommend this store at all to anyone
