I am very disappointed with my experience. Last Friday 2/13/26, I requested to reschedule one payment for one week due to an unexpected situation. This is the first time I’ve ever asked for a change, and I have consistently made all of my payments on time. I understand that businesses have policies in place because of customers who do not pay. I’ve been a customer of rent a center for well over 5 years. Got a new washer and dryer for brand new house from them thinking it’ll be great appliances and great service. Well I regret this now, the two guys that brought both over seemed great, until had issue with “screw being stripped on dryer” so they took dryer back and I was told would get new one. The staff called my landlord demanding payment. When I called they said they have no records and that they would not have called the landlord for payment. My landlord called us and said that Rent-A-Center called him demanding payment because my husband was over 30 days late. He’s only a week late because they refuse to follow the schedule of our paychecks like they said they would in our agreement. My husband has gotten calls from the staffs personal phone numbers. I have been a customer at this location coming on three years and hadn’t had much issues until recently. I had a funeral that I paid for a couple months back that threw me back than my payment date changed. The amount of harassing calls I get is insane. I thought I was more of a customer and I guess I’m not. Very unprofessional. First after doing everything online, I had to go to the store a week later to find out that online doesn’t communicate well with the stores and basically did the whole process over. Now I am sitting at my house an hour AFTER my delivery window with no delivery. Called the store and have rudely been told they are in their way, there was a delivery before me.
