My experience with Rent-A-Center has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their aggressive and borderline illegal collection tactics are absolutely unacceptable. Late at night, they have shown up at my home with no visible identification, knocking on my door and even my windows, as if trying to catch me off guard. The staff works with me, they have great customer service; however I have committed to 2 contracts without knowing exactly what was going on. The older guy there doesn’t do a good job fully explaining what costumes are signing up for. Now I’m in a couple contacts that I don’t know if I’ll be able to uphold. I've used many different Rent-A-Center's in different states. This one is by far the best service I've ever had. Any problems or questions they are always willing to help and if they don't know an answer they'll find out. After getting my account hacked I was a few days late and instead of making me feel terrible about it they were kind and understanding. Making me feel okay about the bad situation. Please do not use this place for your rental needs. I dealt with it because I didn’t no any better. I was relieved once my washer and dryer were paid off. After I paid it off, I noticed the insurance was still being drafted out of my account. It’s funny how if you forget to pay your bill they will hound you like crazy but will not give you the courtesy to call you up and say “hey, would you still like to continue paying insurance on your purchase or would you like to stop the auto draft”.
