I have rented multiple items from Rent A Center locations over the past few years without issue, including three laptops, two really nice tvs, and a set of tires. My most recent rental was an OLED Acer 14 laptop which I returned about six months ago due to excessive heat and poor overall performance because it liked to overheat even when just idling. Worst store ever, I was trying to get a product and was told that I had to pay my second payment in advance, that was no problem for me I went ahead and did it after that I asked when I could pick up the product I was told I have to bring in a lease agreement to pick up my product I explained to the store that the house I live at is in my brothers name I am his roommate after that they stated that I had to have him on the agreement as a co singer, I was not going to put my brother on as a co singer all my bills are at my add... read more
Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the items. I got what I needed, and it was delivered the very next day.
Poor customer service Duke on Bissonet in Houston Texas location was rude hung up in my face and said he can’t help me I called back to speak to manager he just keeps hanging up very unprofessional horrible experience Duke doesn’t need to work customer service at all he will run good customers away.
If I could give zero stars I would. This location is horrible when it comes to customer service and returning phone calls. I went in for a washer and dryer. Leon was helpful at first but then he started devoting all his time to another customer . I was in the process of applying for merchandise and the customer was just aggravating. I then left to go elsewhere. Leon did make it right because, I did sign up for W/D. But my only concern was not getting the rental agreement documents through email. The link was invalid.
