Website said pick up in store, I call to get ready to pick up the laptop and she started fast talking and taking a tone with me telling me I need to give her some time to verify this that and the other Website said 3$ pay for first week she said electronics have a 100 dollar down payment. Misleading for sure. Canceled on the phone.

I’m giving this two stars only because I’m trying to be nice. I stayed polite the entire time, even though the whole experience was off-putting and disappointing. I’m new to the area and didn’t know that each Rent-A-Center operates separately. Where I’m from, there’s only one store for the entire area, so I assumed the system was shared. I walked in looking for a couch and mentioned I already had an account open at the Elmira location. I missed one payment and I received calls for 3 days multiple times a day and then someone showed up at my door. For one payment. I wasn't weeks or months behind, just one payment. I have been paying for over a yr on this account so it's not like I just started and won't pay. I don't miss payments often so I feel this was beyond extreme.

The guys are always nice. Always trying to find what is needed if they dont have it. They make you feel good about being there. I would definitely recommend people i have not had a single problem. Keep up the good work guys i give them a 10
