Horrible customer service, management and furniture both suck. The employees are very rude, very disorganized, try to give you used furniture as new. I had multiple issues with this location. Dont waste your time with this location.
I rented a deep freezer for 1 day and the store manager, clerk, and delivery staff provided customer service that far exceeded my expectations! They were genuinely enthusiastic about helping and ensuring my experience with Rent-A-Center was one that would have me return to this location for future rental needs!
My husband owes 1 payment of $80 and they sent someone to my HOME while he was at work to threaten me to call the police and take my furniture. It was just me and my two small children home, and I don’t answer the door for anyone I don’t know. THE MAN TOLD MY NEIGHBOR he was going to call the police on ME, not my husband. All for $80!!!!! They are rude and they have no business STALKING PEOPLE AT THEIR HOUSE LOOKING FOR THWM BECAUSE YOU ARE 3 days late paying the bill. Y’all was going to get y’all money. Now if I would come to Sharon hill location y’all place of business and show out I would be wrong smh. So yea I give them a 1 star poor customer service pulse that one guy always calling the day after you missed your payment date being rude like someone owe him directly.
The store does not wait for your payment to be a day late before harassing you with excessive phone calls. I have a benefits plus membership and I am currently completing a claim. The employees have no knowledge of these benefits, or the process to complete a claim. The last employee told me “that’s too long” after I explained how long I would be out of work when the membership plus benefits protect your payment for 100 days or when you return to work; whichever occurs first.
