Based on previous reviews and some online research, it seems I'm not alone in experiencing issues with this trolling motor. The brand doesn't appear to live up to its claims, especially if these motors only last 2-3 years—it's no surprise that the warranty is limited to two years. I’ve had my Rhodan for two years now. Warranty just expired. I’ve only had it back for two weeks since it was last fixed and it is down yet again. I am a full time charter captain. And this trolling motor worked maybe 7 months out of the two years. I’ve done everything by the book. And everything has been replaced on it at least once. The only reason I stayed with it for this long was because I could get it fixed the same day. I use my Rhodan for gator hunting and anchoring in a high current pass. It’s always worked well for me, and they have been a great company to deal with. All around beyond happy with the product and customer service I have received! Highly recommend
