I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years! I started with another doctor and continued with Dr. Leader. He delivered my youngest son as the on-call doctor. Since that delivery, I’ve been seeing him regularly as my primary doctor left the practice. he’s an amazing doctor! He is gentle, soft-spoken, and quickly allays any fears or concerns you may have. I was referred by a coworker years ago. I have been a patient ever since. Dr. Leader orders appropriate tests and surgical procedures to assure his patients are as healthy as possible. Most of all, he is very courteous, pleasant, and patient. This makes it easier to discuss any health concerns a patient may have. He truly cares about his patients and their health.
I decided the visit would be my last after Dr. Leader was insensitive to my situation and condition. He only offered perfunctory cognitive empathy, 'I'm sorry that happened,' without expressing genuine concern for the HIDEOUS effects of non-consensual tissue removal by a urogynecologist. I went in for an ultrasound to find out my fluids were low, the day before my due date. Was sent to the maternity for observation, where fear had caused my blood pressure to rise. I repeatedly asked to no avail, over the next 12 hours, for any information so I could calm down. Dr. Leader, my doctor, didn't come in at all during this entire time, just nurses who refused to give me any info.
