I just tried to schedule a follow up appointment for my son that has a history of seizures. He's not had one for 2 yrs, but wanted a check up to make sure he's "grown out of" epilepsy. The receptionist was extremely rude and judgmental. She was extremely rude, and she refused to schedule the appointment. It is NOT the receptionist's job to know if a child needs to be seen. I will find another pediatric neurologist. And as a mother and a healthcare provider, will NEVER recommend this office!
I’ve never had an issue with her or her office in the past. She’s always been very pleasant and her nurse Rachel is fantastic. However, recently I’ve had nothing but issues with her receptionists. It took over a month for them to schedule my daughter’s EEG. The date didn’t end up working for us and I had to reschedule. It’s been a headache ever since. Dr. Patel and her staff are amazing! They were able to schedule my son for an EEG and follow-up appt. within a few days after he had his first seizure. Dr. Patel explained everything to me in a way I understood and provided me with printed educational material, which was helpful. Her nurse Rachel is very friendly and patient and returns my calls in a timely manner.
Never go to this DR. She over dosed my child on medication and almost killed him!
We had a very disappointing experience with this neurology office. Communication was extremely poor from start to finish. Important information—such as bringing medications or prior paperwork—was never shared with us, particularly during their system transition when they did not even have access to records themselves.
