Cant get customer service to cancel my account, they charged me even though I canceled my trial within a few days of starting. Worst customer service and unreliable software.
I'm sharing my experience with RingCentral here. I am a small business owner and I signed up for a year contract in December after the sales person assured me that I could use RingCentral to text my clients. It is now mid-February and RingCentral has still not turned on my SMS capabilities. I did everything they asked including filling out a TCR form in mid January. Worst customer service and dishonest business practice!! Wish I could leave no stars!As others have stated, the actual functionality of the service worked fine. **************** is horrible and shady dishonest business practice. I have been a RingCentral customer for 12+ years. I have tried for the past 2 months to add 2 lines to my service and I cannot get anyone to address my requests. CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS at **********************! I have been paying for the 2 additional lines but cannot use them, and no one will return my calls to address this. I am seeking alternatives for my service.
This is the worst company. They are absolute bullies and attempt to be demanding and play games. They make it very hard to cancel services. I was with them locked under several long term contracts. Finally was able to cancel after contracts ended. For 4-5 years paid high premium cost monthly anywhere from $500 to $800 month. Today I finally broke free and I cancelled. I don't even know where to begin. I currently have two open accounts that I am paying for because of a technical issue between ********************************** I signed up for Spectrum Connect with RingCentral (a partnership between the two companies in which billing is handled thru Spectrum and the ***************** services are entirely RingCentral). Horrible company. They keep you on auto renewal with a contract. I called to be taken off of auto renew. They assured me it wouldnt renew. I talked to my rep a couple months before the contract renewal date and he assured me it was not on auto renew. Guess what, it was and the company asked me if I have an email proving that I requested. Ridiculous how they trap you in.
I subscribed to this service in 2021 in order to fax some work documents. This was supposed to be a 1 time thing I needed that has turned into a nightmare. I have called the number to cancel my subscription which ended up only making it impossible for me to login or reset my password to gain access, but have been charged $24.20 every month for 36 months.
