"Good for inner-office messaging but not for task management" Overall: I pretty much already said everything in my previous comments. This was already being used when I started working for this company so I don't know how it's measured up to people's initial expectations. "I enjoy the Call forwarding feature. " Overall: useful to call internationally, from your desktop. Call forwarding to a chosen phone where you can choose to pick up from desktop or chosen phone number.Pros: I found that RingCentral was easy to set up from my computer, there was no need for assistance. Listening to messages is set up well, on the computer. "Call, text, fax and conference from anywhere" Overall: The overall experience with RingCentral is very positive. The sales and implementation cycle was smooth. "I wish it wasn't so convenient" Overall: It's great and I'm glad it's available. My company seems to trust it so I appreciate that. I started the job during the pandemic so I'm grateful I had this as an option.Pros: Rather than giving out my cellphone number to clients, my company offered RingCentral. "Seems a like Zoom copy without the Zoom features" Overall: Overall I was satisfied but wished it presented a true differentiation from Zoom.Pros: I liked the ease of usage. It seems to be able to accommodate large number of participants (50+).Cons: There are many features available in the version I was using. For example it was impossible to change the background. I thought I was using Zoom when using this product - there does not seem to be much of a product differentiation.
"Great software if you need phone lines." Overall: Overall, RingCentral does exactly what we need it to do for our business.Pros: Our business has over 50 offices and each office has multiple phone numbers. RingCentral allows us to have a database of all of our phone numbers, and also gives us access to features such as voicemail and call forwarding.Cons: We have noticed that occasionally there is a delay in the ringing, we believe from it transferring lines.
A bit difficult to navigate Pros: I use this software for our after hours coverage line. I find that it can be difficult to navigate and set up. Each week we have to update the information to forward calls to whoever is working on after hours coverage. With each app update the app changes drastically and makes it difficult to find the different options and tools I need. "Excellent VOIP offering" Overall: Pleasent customer support and easy to setup devices.Pros: Very knowledgeable phone support, easy to deploy and solid infrastructure. I resell VOIP systems for a couple of different company's and ring central is on my shortlist. Excellent selection of features.Cons: I have not yet found any cons to this service.
