TL:DR - RingCentral uses predatory practices! READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY! RingCentral has pretty okay service, although their app has issues with extensions ringing properly, and that often leads to technicians not getting calls until the 3rd or 4th ring when their phone finally starts to ring. These guys are trying to strong arm me into a termination fee. We had been customers for almost 10yrs with theprevious owner. I signed nothing and they rolled my contract into another cycle. When i explained the mistake and showed tehm the termination request they tried to come at me with over 1k in termination fees. I would not do business with a comapny like this. Shady.
If I could give a negative star review I would.I have been trying to contact customer service for months. My Contract ended last month ( whatever you do don't get into a contract with them) since I have been unable to reach anyone except the sales team which can't help with anything but sales, I was hoping my payments would stop. ( wishful thinking). I have called, emailed, left messages, you name it but to no avail. My next call is the FCC and anywhere else I can file a formal complaint.
I can't speak about the quality of their services because I've not been able to sign up. Their sales phone tree is like 5 or 7 levels deep and each of three consecutive calls with different Reps got disconnected (on their end) during my technical questions about whether their service would work for my very small business. It feels like they don't want to bother with me because I'm not a large enough account.
HORRIBLE experience so far with Ring Central. Our business phones were ported to RC this past Friday and the RC representative that walked us through the porting process (via screen share) apparently forgot to map our business phone numbers to our account. It is now Tuesday and still no phones. What's worse is customers who try to call get a message that the phone number they dialed is not in service, making it appear we have closed.
