In 1997, Rising Sun was founded by a father-son team, Jimmy and Jason Akers, to fulfill this vision. We began by building post offices. In the decades since, our team has grown to nearly 300. We self-perform challenging projects with pride and invest in our team and community.

From my perspective as in sales Rising Sun does an excellent job getting me the information required to quote their projects. I always have the information, plans and specs, in plenty of time to provide the pricing that's required. From a delivery standpoint our dispatchers are very complimentary with their views of the working relationship with their superintendents, All in all its been a very rewarding relationship for us and hopefully them as well.
