I booked this activity in the middle of December. It was FREEZING so make sure to check the weather before you go and layer up. Besides the cold, it was so fun! We were the only ones scheduled for this time slot so we went as fast or slow as we wanted without having to accommodate other riders. You choose who will be on the right hand side of the rail bike and they control the electric motor (you can turn it on and off) so it’s not as tiring. Very enjoyable experience, high recommend it. We were lucky to be the only one there besides the guides. We thought we didnt need the motor much but oh boy we turn off then we were struggling to petal. They have lovely pinic area to hangout after or before
I took the afternoon high tea train and it was just ok. The railroad car was very cold and they did turn off the ceiling fans but it was still chilly the whole time (I saw other people putting on jackets and scarves), so if you're going bundle up! We only saw a view of the river maybe 5 minutes the rest of the time was just trees and some farmland. I thought we would be going along the River the whole time. The high tea was average. My family and myself paid to go on the Magical Christmas Train for Saturday December 13, 2025 at 6:00-7:00 pm. We were all excited for this day since we have never been. We had our hopes up and they quickly got crushed, the experience was nothing like what was advertised. To begin with we got loaded on the train and we had to wait next to extremely hot heaters for over 30 minutes, it was very unpleasant.
