The Magic Christmas Train was absolutely magical from start to finish. It was engaging, festive, and genuinely fun for both kids and adults. The interactive snowball fight was a highlight..everyone on our train was laughing and fully participating, which created such a great atmosphere. The characters were fantastic. Trying to take the Grinch out was hilarious, and Santa was warm, funny, and incredibly thoughtful. He took time to sit with every child, talk with them, and take photos, which made the experience feel personal ... read more

It was one of a kind experience and the railbikes ride itself was perfect, the atmosphere pulls you in. I originally planned for one trip, but I couldn't resist going back for a second ride the same day. General Manager Anthony accommodated everything I needed to make that second trip happen, which really made my day. The souvenir shop had exactly what I was looking for. Overall I had a beautiful, flawlessly run local experience.

The high tea train experience is sub-par. Unfortunately, they don't have black teas, just herbal teas, so nothing to go with the milk, which is fine, but that's not what a tea (think British tea, high tea) uses. Water was not hot, and not kept hot. Each person got one teabag, not a whole pot of tea. Just weird, compared to all the tea rooms I visit. Yes, they had the lemon curd and cream for the scones, but the scones were a soggy, unbaked wet dough triangle. No one on the train even ate the lemon cake bite, and the oth... read more

This was a cute decorated train that takes a short ride down the river and back while you drink hot chocolate and eat cookies. Santa stops by for a visit after the halfway point. I can't say that it was bad only that minimal effort was given for the anticipated activities and the hot chocolate was served so hot the kids couldn't drink it. I was expecting to ride and have the sing-along and games throughout the ride, but we only had one game, and a couple of songs as part of the Santa visit lead up. The staff definitely were... read more

I took the afternoon high tea train and it was just ok. The railroad car was very cold and they did turn off the ceiling fans but it was still chilly the whole time (I saw other people putting on jackets and scarves), so if you're going bundle up! We only saw a view of the river maybe 5 minutes the rest of the time was just trees and some farmland. I thought we would be going along the River the whole time. The high tea was average. For the four of us we got four over baked chocolate croissants (very dark brown) four tiny sa... read more
