I booked this activity in the middle of December. It was FREEZING so make sure to check the weather before you go and layer up. Besides the cold, it was so fun! We were the only ones scheduled for this time slot so we went as fast or slow as we wanted without having to accommodate other riders. You choose who will be on the right hand side of the rail bike and they control the electric motor (you can turn it on and off) so it’s not as tiring. The distance is around 4 miles (2 there and 2 back). All of my belongings fell out ... read more

I took the afternoon high tea train and it was just ok. The railroad car was very cold and they did turn off the ceiling fans but it was still chilly the whole time (I saw other people putting on jackets and scarves), so if you're going bundle up! For the four of us we got four over baked chocolate croissants (very dark brown) four tiny sa... read more

We had our hopes up and they quickly got crushed, the experience was nothing like what was advertised. To begin with we got loaded on the train and we had to wait next to extremely hot heaters for over 30 minutes, it was very unpleasant. The bar didn't have many of the things on the menu, we got the leftovers from the previous rides. The hot chocolate cups w... read more

My partner and I attended the 8:00 AM River Fox Train railbike session with a small group of six people. The overall ride was fun and the scenery along the route was lovely — a mix of farmland, open fields, and stretches along a quiet road. However, there were several aspects that could be improved to make the experience safer and more enjoyable. While the instructors were friendly, they weren’t as attentive or organized as other railbike tours I’ve been on. There were two instructors, one who rides in the front and leads a... read more
