My wife bought me a 50 minute deep tissue massage for my birthday, massage was ok. It didn't feel like a deep tissue at all. Didn't focus much on calfs or legs at all. I told the girl giving the massage that I had a lot of stiffness in my neck and upper back and she barely did anything with my neck. Also was not told about the day spa and sauna until my massage was over so I was not prepared to take advantage of those perks which was honestly a little upsetting. No only are the woman that work up front the absolute sweetest people making sure their guests are comfortable and have what they need I got a 50 minute Swedish massage from Riva and it was absolutely amazing. I have a tendon injury in my arm and it has been months even with PT since I have been able to move without pain. Riva was able to work the area around my injury and for the first time in months I can move freely. If you want to go to a Spa that cares about their clients I highly recommend booking here.
This place once failed me for the maintenance day schedule and I decided to go. But don't get me wrong this place for me is heaven the dry sauna , steam sauna , jacuzzi , the spacious shower area , multiple room for massage the , . Complimentary hot and cold drinks while relaxing in the beautifully set up lounge. I live in Jacksonville and your spa is a perfect getaway for my daughter and I to relax. We love all the amenities and have been several times. Yesterday we had facials. I have had many facials and this was the worst one i’ve ever had. The lady was very friendly, but for one I was only in there 17 minutes and she didn’t do anything . I felt like she took my makeup off, hot towels and one more wipe after applying a product, all things I do myself. it’s a lot of money for nothing. No massage at all.
I taught several of the front desk staff and attendants booking protocol, product knowledge and two new hair and scalp treatments from John Paul Mitchel Systems. This spa is run very well and I want to take my wife back to enjoy the services as a couple.
