My child recently had surgery at this facility, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was kind, caring, and professional. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of our questions, and made both my son and I feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve been to River Valley on two separate occasions (2020 and now) with two different children, and I’m happy to say the care was outstanding both times. The facility is exceptionally clean, and the entire process was seamless from check-in (thank you, Brenda!) through discharge. My 16-year-old daughter had a tonsillectomy with Dr. Dellacono on 7/1, and every single staff member we encountered was kind, patient, and compassionate. The care team at River Valley surgical was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and caring. I felt totally safe and reassured getting my pain shots. Dr Kapur is an excellent Doctor. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at River Valley ASC in Norwich. As someone who had never had surgery before, I was incredibly nervous, but from the moment I checked in, every single person made me feel comfortable and cared for. Everyone at river valley made it a smooth surgery. I would definitely return and recommend here if needed. I want to give a shout out to expecially MiKe Bakowski when I got to river valley I was very very upset and nervous/ scared lots of emotions this was my first surgery ever !
