I went here for skin cancer in multiple locations. Dr Buchbinder rushed me through and took care of only one. When I had to go back, I learned he was in NY on personal business. A medical assistant saw me? They said my insurance company didn’t cover any of the other five doctors in office. Within two months the cancer spread to five other areas. Now I’m talking to a lawyer!
Dr. Chimento is genuine, caring, and very kind. She has taken the time to listen and help me to resolve all skin issues. I will absolutely keep coming back for as long as I am in Boca! I also recently got my first ever facial from Adriana and it was a game changer for my skin. I did not realize how many impurities could be solved from a simple facial. I would be very careful about utilizing this office for your dermatology needs. I was not given informed consent that my insurance would be charged by my treating doctor for a basic lesion freezing. I called the billing department and spoke to a very nice woman named Linda who indicated that I am not the first person to call and complain about this. I would look elsewhere.
Dr. Buchbinder was very insensitive to my needs and took no time to sit down and build a client relationship. He missed the area I asked him to fix 3 different times and I had to go back and ask the nurse to make sure he was doing it correctly. I now have scars in those areas because he did the procedure with no empathy towards his client or his own mistakes. Too old to be doing dermatology!! Do not recommend.
Dr Bookbinder has been my doctor for over 12 years. I went to see him this Tuesday. He misdiagnosed my skin problem from a minimum of 10 feet away. When I tried to follow up with him on Friday as he suggested I was in such bad shape that I sent him pictures in an e mail. I followed up with staff to make sure he got the e mail. They assured me he had and would call me back. He never did. I ended up in an emergancy room.
