Don't even think of ordering anything from this company and definitely dont get lured into a *** membership as even when they say they are cancelling they aren't. I went once last summer ..bought my boyfriend a pair of shoes for a holiday or anniversary or whatever and they actually saved my debit card information under his name and a year later decided to charge me for his annual account bc when they tried his it didn't go through...even though he had money they decided they will just charge mine. Horrible customer service for rewards customers. I have called various times to speak with a representative and you are left on forever hold. No one ever comes on the line to assist you however you hear numerous announcements about how important you are as a customer and a recorded message from the *** indicating they have a staffing shortage (everyone's excuse for everything these days). I have order a pair of shoes and signed up for their VIP program. The shoes didn't fit well so I returned and received the email saying they had received it in mid January 2022. They said it'd take them 4-6 days to process the refund, but it's mid March 2022, I still have not see the refund I tried emailing them but I haven't heard back. I tried calling them but it's a long wait. Today I waited 20 mins and hang up.If I don't hear from them soon, I'd have to get a refund through my credit card company.
Absolute worst corporate customer service. Charged for a ********************** upgrade I never authorized, Received a cred and then charges a 2nd time, which they deny. It is clearly on my bank statement, but they are trying to blame my bank. Sent emails to the president of the company but no response. A Very Frustrating Shopping Experience I drove quite a way to their large store in *********. They did not have the shoes in the brand I wanted in any style of my size. I ordered two pairs of shoes from Road Runner Sports online because I had a $50 discount from activeadvantage.com. I had never shopped at Road Runner Sports and was excited to see what they had. The total for the two shoes was approximately $165. I received the first pair and the second pair are still on their way. After being bullied at the ******** ** store I wanted to cancel my VIP account and get a refund. 10 days later and customer service claims that they sent the refund but my bank shows they did not. I had to file a dispute with my bank. We will see how easily this gets resolved. I with I had looked at the BBB listing for this company before signing up.
After a recent visit to Road Runner Sports physical store in *********** **** I discovered that I had been signed up for a Family membership plus account. I never authorized such an account or the $59.99 charge they placed on my credit card. I have been a VIP member for going on 15 years. This was the old VIP membership where there was a one time $20 fee...NOT recurring fee!
